Assignment 1: Photo Manipulation
After reviewing the basic tools in Photoshop, it is time to start practicing! Click on the image files on the right to get a larger version for download, and save them on your disk. You will be working on these files and later submit them to me for review and grading, so keep them safe.
In the first image, you need to extract the strawberry from the rest of the image, and put it in a different background of your own making (not a photo). Needless to say, the image has to be sharp and crisp.
In the second image, alter the color of the peppers from Red to some other color, making sure the background remains the same. The final result should look realistic, so choose your colors wisely.
When you are done, add the peppers to the third image. You'll need to blend the red peppers into the other image in a convincing manner.
Be patient and precise. Don't forget to save your work often as you progress. You could loose hours of work if you are not careful!
