Assignment 4: Creating an Imaginary Self Portrait
In this assignment you will be required to place yourself in an imaginary landscape that you will create by collaging at least five different images.
First, come up with an interesting idea. Think of the layout of your image and begin looking for images to use in your collage. Also, digitize pictures of yourself and bring them to class. The more photos you have the better choices you'll have to work with.
Once you have gathered your resources, create copies of your images since you'll need to preserve the original images as part of the assignment. Create your collage based on your idea, paying attention to the correct merging of color, contrast, brightness, and sharpness of your images. A successful project will be creative, aesthetic, and seamless.
