Assignment 5: Creating a Brochure Cover
In this assignment you will be required to create a cover for a brochure for either tourism or a university. Choose a specific local and think of the most interesing and characteristic aspects of the place that can atract tourists or potential students.
Begin with coming up with some interesting ideas and begin making sketches. Think of exciting and original layouts that incorporate the fundamentals of design, like cropping, overlapping, contrast, color, grid, etc. Try to think of compositions that are interesting to look at. Also, begin looking for images and fonts that might go with your ideas. As always, the more choices you have the better your work will be.
Once you have gathered your resources, compile and arrange them according to your approved layout in an 8 X 9 inch page setup for print. Pay special attention to the correct merging of your images, the layout, and font choices.
