Assignment 4 – Designing a Web Site for an Exhibition

After visiting the Met museum's three special exhibits: The Age of Rembrandt, Frank Stella on the Roof, and Abstract Expressionism, create a mockup homepage in Photoshop for one of the above. Create a list of possible links for the site (like visitor info, images, etc.) and general content. Create your Photoshop mockup in a 800 X 600 pixel file.

Due: Tuesday, Oct. 9.

Now that you have a layout for the homepage of the exhibit, it's time to turn it into a real functioning web page! Use Dreamweaver to create your layout, and add functioning links to the rest of the pages in your imaginary site. Make sure all text and links are actually type and not images. You can use Photoshop slices for the other parts of your layout.

Due: Tuesday, Oct. 23.
